Why did I receive a bill from Aspira Labs when my blood was drawn at my provider or local lab?

Your specimen may be collected by your provider or at a local laboratory, but your OvaWatch or Ova1Plus test can only be performed by Aspira Labs, Inc. Aspira Labs will bill your insurance and forward any patient responsibility after claim adjudication.

What are the billing and payment options?

  • Aspira Women’s Health will bill your insurance plan. Please contact your insurance carrier directly to understand your financial responsibility.   
  • We offer interest free payment plans.  Please contact a billing representative to establish the payment plan that works for you. 
  • Financial assistance programs are also available for those who qualify.

How much do the tests cost?

As with all medical services, you are responsible for applicable deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments under the terms of your plan.

If you are uninsured, you will generally pay a rate of $295.

NON-COVERED OR OUT OF NETWORK

If Ova1Plus or OvaWatch is considered non-covered by your plan, your responsibility will generally be limited to our self-pay rate of $295.

If your insurance plan is in network with Aspira, you are responsible for paying your deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance.

Why did I receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)?

When we bill your insurance, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company regarding laboratory services provided by Aspira Labs, Inc. An EOB is not a bill. Please wait to receive a bill from Aspira Labs, Inc before calling your provider regarding your balance.
