Al Johnson joined Aspira Women’s Health in 2021 as the West Zone Sales Director responsible for leading the commercial team in the Western United States supporting customers and driving Aspira’s growth initiatives.
Al comes to us with over 25 years of Leadership Experience at Fortune 100 companies such as, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Laboratories & Kinetic Concepts (Now 3M).
Each of his roles has been rewarded with increased responsibility and expanded influence. He has been an instrumental contributor in the design, development & Commercial implementation of large sales teams. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed teams that have sold a wide array of products. From Pharmaceutics, Biologics, Medical Devices and most recently Capital Equipment. He is masterful at guiding his teams through the complexities of each sales cycle. His teams have sold products into the Operating Room, Commercial Laboratories, Supply Chain & C-Suite levels. He is firm in his commitment to the continuous education and training of his teams as a means of increasing their overall competency and productivity. As a result , He has enjoyed multiple years of leading teams to peak performance and is adept at managing key customer relationships to retain business. Al shows a unique skill and ease with leading groups. He also enjoys a cross collaborative approach to working with others to achieve a common goal. He believes in forging close working relationships and alliances to get the job done.
Al has mastery level proficiencies with many different selling processes. Scotwork Negotiations, Integrity Selling, Power Messaging, Miller Heiman Strategic Selling & Conversational Selling are all techniques in which he has been certified as a mentor & coach.
He brings to Aspira Women’s Health, a positive and energetic attitude along with his unwavering passion to succeed. This stems from his days competing as a former collegiate athlete. He possesses a BA in Business Administration from Greenville University and is Six Sigma Certified.
